Dear colleague,

Prof. Christos Zerefos, Secretary General of the Academy of Athens and co-founder of SDSN Climate Hub, and Prof. Phoebe Koundouri, Chair of SDSN Global Climate Hub, together with Prof. Jeffrey Sachs, President UN SDSN, and Prof. Yannis Ioannidis, co-founder SDSN Global Climate Hub, would like to formally invite you to attend the upcoming POST- COP27 Workshop which will convene in Athens (and online) from December 13-14, 2022.

SDSN Global Climate Hub had a strong presence at the 27th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP27) that took place 7th-18th of November in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. This post- COP27 workshop organized by SDSN Global Climate Hub,UN SDSN and UNFCCCClimate Change Global Innovation Hub, will focus on the following two objectives:

Discuss COP27 results and identify the way forward
Announce UN SDSN Global Climate Hub aim to present climate mate neutrality and resilience pathways for Europe, Asia and Northern Africa during the next UN General Assembly 2023 (September) New York
The Workshop is co-organized by the Academy of Athens, SDSN Europe, SDSN Greece, ReSEES Research Laboratory, Athens University of Economics and Business, Sustainable Development Unit & EIT Climate- KIC HUB Greece, Athena Research and Innovation Center, the International Centre for Research on the Environment and the Economy (ICRE8) and the Alliance of Excellence for Research and Innovation on Αephoria | AE4RIA and it will take place on the 13th and 14th of December at the Academy of Athens.
