Water resources are increasingly becoming vulnerable and threatened. At least half the world’s population suffers from polluted water. Millions of people die each year due to water-related diseases. Given the rising water stress, there remains a need for urgent reforms. Solutions stemming from technology, best practices and social behaviour need to be undertaken to minimize the adverse impacts . Keeping the above in mind CII – Triveni Water Institute is organising a Conference on Emerging threats due to deteriorating Water Quality: Need for Action, on 20th November 2018 at New Delhi
