The Technical University of Munich is hosting two unique events on the 28th and 29th of June 2013 in Garching near Munich: The TUM Desal Competition and the TUM Desal Conference. At the TUM Desal Competition, creative students participate with their own energy-self-sufficient desalination plants and compete in seven disciplines. This year, nine student teams were elected to take part. Our aim is to raise awareness for the growing scarcity of drinking water.
