The best way to protect the environment and to save the earth is to reduce the birth rate in the whole of the world. China policy of one child helped a lot to reduce birth rate in China. Problems on earth are increasing at the fast rate due to ever increasing the population. The cure of most of the problems of humanity is birth control

  1. I am 69 years old. In year 1974, i was posted in Jaipur, Capital of Rajasthan State of India. Then the main city roads were having little traffic and it was possible to travel on foot without fear of accident. In 2016, 42 later, the roads are so crowded that it is very difficult to travel on foot even in the streets, what to talk of main roads. I wonder my good friend will like to compare the position of the city 40 years earlier and at present, in which he is living. All over the world the land of pastures, village ponds, local natural streams has already been consumed for residential and commercial purposes. In Rajasthan, most of Rajasthan has come under dark zone and local village ponds, etc are disappearing. In Karnataka state of India more than one thousand small dams have disappeared. The inflow of water per unit of rainfall has decreased in the rivers and dams. My friend may like to study the facts for Pakistan and in rest of the world. Then he will also agree with my opinion.

    1. I observe you as an intellectual. The question is why the peoples are rushing towards cities. You are a bit elder than me. I also belong to village by birth with no school, no approach road in 1960 and still 2016 with fertile cultivatable but still barren land. Having lot of sources if flood water is properly controlled. We can increase the ratio of rain fall by comprehensive planning in shape of forests etc. Surely it would increase the inflow. It would be better to provide all the basic facilities to villagers and developing the Rural areas by better local markets. Now I am working in a city of population more than 20 million. Their daily food, vegetables, milk requirements comes from far Rural areas. In short, don't compare the position of Rajasthan OR India and China with the rest of the world. we can reduce the road rush if population is scattered by planning for new cities and utilizing all available resources, thus by increasing the rain fall ratio.
