Well written article. You have simplified the rainwater business. Somaliland should replicate your suggestions and ideas. Thanks.

increasing ample availability of water is simple; 1. by recharging groundwater on all open spaces in the countryside by building ponds 5 feet deep covered with old tires to reduce evaporation, on all free low level grounds with a 10 inch dia & 3 ft long steel pipe fitted with a filter & inserted into the ground for water to percolate down plus 2. doing the same along all ditches on both sides of roads/highways where rain water collects in the same way as explained above at a distances of one kilometer all along the roads. for cities the same can be done with water from the storm water drains, plus low cost recharging of all bore wells during the rains to increase their output when even dry bore wells will get reactivated.

Underground Rainwater Harvesting by KFP(Patented)RWH achieves all these goals in individual farm land without submerging any land permanently under water. visit www.varshajal.com for details
