If you would like to know more about using multi-wavelength Fast Repetition Rate fluorometry to estimate gross primary productivity come along to a free training session to be held on Onboard RV Callista on Wednesday 10th April 12.00-13.00 at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton, UK. Dr Kevin Oxborough and his team will demonstrate the new range of FastOcean FRR fluorometers for in situ and in vitro estimation of gross primary productivity. Additional applications include ballast water monitoring, algal bloom detection, sea-truthing of satellite data, toxicant detection, coastal monitoring, iron fertilization experiments to name a few. With increased functionality, detailed analysis of phytoplankton within the laboratory can now be achieved. Places are limited to 25 so if you wish to attend, please come along to Ocean Business and register fast - http://www.chelsea.co.uk/component/content/article/338-register-for-one-of-our-free-training-sessions-at-ocean-business-2013
