Canvest Infracapital and TERI School of Advanced Studies have signed an MoU to set up InfraCube, a platform for advancing infrastructure sector research, data analytics and entrepreneurial action through a conducive dialogue between the key actors in the development/ sector, technology companies and financial organizations.

TERI SAS is a higher education institute based in India, widely recognized for its work in building capacity around various themes of sustainable development adopting an inter-disciplinary approach and incorporating the most contemporary, research-based evidence into the curriculum. Canvest Infracapital, headquartered at Vancouver, Canada, is an independent portfolio management and advisory company, dedicated to facilitating blended finance for sustainable infrastructure projects and innovative Infratech.

At the virtual signing event, Prof. Arun Kansal, HoD & Professor, Coca-Cola Department of Regional Water Studies at TER ISAS quoted “The situation demands inter-sectoral approaches, restructuring of partnership mechanisms, transitioning to advanced management practices and technologies to improve the stewardship of the resource base and service delivery. InfraCube will conduct extensive sector research, publish policy briefs, create decision support data tools and conduct knowledge sessions to build a better consensus toward sustainable infrastructure development, investments and coordinated action. InfraCube will also build capacity through customized programs for post- graduate students and for practicing professionals in infrastructure and finance.”
