Hey Everyone, Due to the current condition of Puerto Rico our partner, the U.S. Department of Commerce, has asked Splashlink to reach out to the water industry and see if any company or individual can help field some of the immediate needs they currently have on the island. Some of them are: seeking information on a range of water-quality analysis laboratory equipment for 10 anticipated robust lab setups across the island. seeking information on Point-of-Use (PoU) water treatment and purification kits/products for use by island residents to convert raw water to drinkable water, with particular emphasis on managing viral, bacterial (and as possible) parasitic concerns. seeking information on mobile, skid-mounted, small-footprint, non-grid-dependent conversion-to-potable, reuse/recycling, desalination, evaporation and related power-supply equipment.   1. A mineral that has bactericidal properties and is suitable for the purification of drinking and waste water is well known to me. But this mineral is very far from you.
    I advise you to select and test minerals with bactericidal properties in the Caribbean. Simple filters can be manufactured or assembled in each family. Such filters I use for more than 20 years.
