The national development strategy of Kyrgyzstan includes providing the population with clean water as one of the main principles of state policy. According to it, the permit aims to provide populated areas with 100 percent clean water by 2024.
A person cannot live without water. Water is one of the main factors determining the location of productive forces, and very often the means of production. The increase in water consumption in industry is associated not only with its rapid development, but also with an increase in water consumption per unit of production. For example, to produce 1 ton of cotton fabric, a factory uses 250 m3 of water. The chemical industry requires a lot of water. Thus, the production of 1 ton of ammonia requires about 1000 m3 of water.
