What does Game of Thrones finale have to do with sewage treatment? SPOILER ALERT! The much-anticipated Game of Thrones finale aired Sunday night. Today, I stumbled upon this great article by Jesse Nichols of Grist.org about the history of sewage and water infrastructure. Most of the characters and events in Game of Thrones were based on the historical facts from medieval times, which means that the towns' infrastructure systems were pretty accurately described as well.
