According to our experience in the implementation of Water Footprint assessments and integrated water resources management in more than 50 projects in GSI, what really triggers action for better water use is the clarity and smart data management, and engagement from citizens to corporates and governments. This approach is flexible and adaptable to data-poor or data-rich environments, and through the use of infographics and open source GIS to show them with clarity.
