I would like to share information with this on this particular forum given its relevance to River Restoration. Water Utilities are quick to blame ageing infrastructure for the frequency of discharges. However, there are significant factors that they would much rather you not be aware of. The link below provides some insight gained over 45 years work both for, and with these organisations, but increasingly frustrated now by their reluctance to recognise their shortcomings and refocus on effective and sustainable solutions.
