I’ve seen two very different reactions to the Dutch "water square" concept.

One view: It's a brilliant way to manage flooding while creating community spaces that are used every day.

Another view: If runoff washes across streets, parking lots, or other urban surfaces, should there be concerns about kids playing in those areas after storm events?
