Reused Water as a Source of Clean Water and Energy - Equitable access to water of proper quantity and quality is a human right, and water reuse is a proven way to contribute to this goal. However, this is possible only when inter-sectoral policies, regulations and tools for regulatory compliance, inclusive governance, financial support, and public opinion are all incorporated into long-term planning. Otherwise, 2030 will pass with the water-related Sustainable Development Goals unmet, new goals will be set further down the road, and those too will have little prospect of success as has been the case for the last four decades.
