It is understood that in the catchment area of Gnadhi Sagar Dam, a network of rain gauge stations has been set up, to estimate the quantum of inflow of flood water in Gandhi Sagar Dam. On this basis it is decided how the inflow of flood water in Gandhi Sagar dam will be tackled, like whether to deplete the dam upto certain pre determined level. It is suggested that Modi Govt. & state govt. may set up a scientific network of rain gauge stations for the cities & the dams to take advance decision to tackle the inflow of flood water in advance safely. or the Govt. of India & state governments wants to do no labour to safeguard their cities, public & dams, barrages, weirs etc. from flood damages and prefer to allow the present situation of huge loss of public / private property & human, animal lives due to floods.
