In the village of Kibarbarta, Kenya, we are witnessing that moment. Children are celebrating as new water storage tanks arrive—soon to become a life-changing rainwater harvesting system. Within days, the system will be ready to capture and store rain in three 10,000-liter tanks, providing safe, clean water for their community.
Through partnerships with local pastors and volunteers, Global Water Works has now installed 20 systems across Kenya and Uganda, bringing clean water to more than 6,000 people. Many of them are children experiencing a clear, safe glass of water for the very first time.
