Introduction
Access to clean water, proper sanitation, and hygiene education remains a pressing challenge in many rural communities within the North East Region of Ghana. Poor WASH conditions contribute to high rates of waterborne diseases, hinder educational outcomes, and negatively impact overall community well-being. This proposal seeks sponsorship to implement sustainable WASH interventions that will enhance the health and livelihoods of vulnerable populations.

Targeted Beneficiaries: Rural households, schools, and deprived communities in the North East Region of Ghana

Objectives
1. Improve access to clean water through the construction and rehabilitation of boreholes and water purification systems.
2. Enhance sanitation infrastructure by providing household latrines and sanitary facilities in schools.
3. Promote hygiene education through community sensitization and school-based health programs.
4. Encourage sustainable WASH practices by training local leaders and promoting behavioral change strategies.

Proposed Activities
- Identify and prioritize communities with critical WASH needs.
- Construct and refurbish water sources to ensure access to clean drinking water.
- Provide sanitary facilities and establish waste disposal systems.
- Conduct hygiene awareness campaigns, particularly in schools.
- Train community health volunteers to ensure long-term sustainability.

Expected Impact
