I am a water professional from Australia and I am looking to travel to Koh Samui in April of this year. I intend to travel for Songkran 2017. I am very interested in the impacts of water shortages on the people of the Island. I have seen the environmental, health, economic and cultural challenges that can arise from water shortages - including through my experience through Australian droughts and would like to speak with some people while I am there. However, I am struggling to find a contact from the Koh Samui Provincial Water Department (or some other relevant agency) to meet with while I am there. Does anyone have any leads for me?
