Last week, I presented at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Water, Food, Climate and Energy Conference. The conference provided a great platform to critically discuss the nexus and also view it from a number of perspectives. The audience was diverse and drew from a wide variety of viewpoints. I've attached the draft declaration that explores some of the early thinking, but this is being revised to incorporate perspectives that emerged out of the four days of discussions. As I raised in my presentation, I think we need to think critically about the nexus asking key questions like do we use these frames or do frames use us? Comments on the draft declaration are welcome.
