In USA there is a weather television channel, which accurately & with responsibility, tells about the probable weather at every place of USA in detail, round the clock. This helps American citizens to know the probable rainfall, wind speed, snowfall, maximum & minimum temperatures etc. in advance. This helps every American citizen like office goers, farmers, etc. The Government of India may consider setting up a similar type of television channel for probable weather information only, to give information about every place of India, round the clock, so that the Indian citizens may have minimum losses due to unknown abrupt weather changes and may run their activities according to probable weather.

  1. I was not sure how many are there. I welcome you supplemented the full information. For all Americans to know correct information is very essential due to weather variations. The Farmers, office goers, and other people need it in every country. The productivity of all nations has increased due to internet and mobile phones. It can further increase a lot, if all the nations including India have a 24 hourly television channel for weather information. It will also a help increase in farm produce and wealth of the nations.

  2. Hi Yogesh yes, there are several, also all with websties and associated mobile apps. Surprising that this is not available in India. The big ones are AccuWeather Channel, Weathe Nation and the Weather Channel. They are not government except for emergencies , the two for this are the EBS (Emergency Broadcast System and NOAA.
