Total Project Value: USD 300 Million
Seeking: EPC / EPC+Finance Strategic Partner
In parallel to EPC engagement, the project is seeking a strategic partner with capabilities in project development, investment structuring and long-term participation under PPP/concession frameworks.
Project Overview
A major government-backed regional infrastructure program is being developed in East Africa, covering approximately 30,000 km². The program integrates regional water security infrastructure, agricultural development and irrigation, and an education facility focused on water and agriculture. The initiative forms part of the country’s national development strategy and has received cabinet and parliament support. Engineering design and planning work for key project components have already been completed by a state-owned national construction authority, reducing development risk and enabling accelerated implementation.
Project Structure
The program is being structured for sovereign-backed long-term financing to the government.
Potential financing sources include:
• Development Finance Institutions (DFIs)
• Export Credit Agencies (ECAs)
• Multilateral development banks
• International infrastructure lenders
EPC Partnership Opportunity
The project sponsors are seeking international EPC contractors or infrastructure developers interested in EPC or EPC+Finance participation, strategic infrastructure development partnerships, collaboration with international lenders and DFIs, and engineering, construction and project implementation.
