I hold a BSc in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, along with an MSc in Hydraulic Engineering, and am also a Certified Project Manager (PMI-PMP). With long time Practical professional experience across Ethiopia and Tanzania, I have worked in diverse roles including Hydraulic Engineer, Dam Engineer, Hydrologist, Irrigation Engineer, Water Resources Engineer, and Water Supply and Sanitation Engineer. My expertise extends to Integrated Water Resource Management and Development (IWRMD), with a strong understanding of the social and environmental impacts of water resource projects. This broad background has equipped me to address the technical, environmental, and social dimensions of complex water management initiatives.


My primary focus is on the planning of water resource projects (Specially in Dam Engineering), with a specialization in conducting pre feasibility and feasibility studies, detailed design, and construction engineering. I have extensive experience in projects related to pumped irrigation systems, diversion irrigation, sprinkler irrigation, as well as dam and reservoir developments for purposes such as water supply, irrigation, flood control, recreation, wildlife conservation, and maintaining environmental flows. Over the course of my career, I have held various roles, including serving as a Project Team Leader for multidisciplinary projects.
