The 7th World Water Forum kicked off in Daegu on April 12 with an opening ceremony attended by 1,800 high-ranking international and domestic officials. Under the slogan of "Water for Our Future," the forum will take place until April 17 at the EXCO in Daegu and the HICO in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, with the core value of "Implementation." Held every three years by the World Water Council, the World Water Forum is the largest international event to discuss water-related issues that takes place around World Water Day on March 22.
