The energy transition is a major transformation of industry, infrastructure, and strategic priorities. Europe has the talent, innovation, market, and motivation to lead this change, guided by the European Green Deal. Key technologies, such as green hydrogen, ammonia, and advanced biofuels, will decarbonize the heavy industry, transport, and aviation sectors, while reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
Spain can play a leading role as a producer and exporter of green hydrogen, creating jobs, regional development, and opportunities for reindustrialization. To succeed, Europe must accelerate regulatory frameworks, integrate energy networks, and prioritize strategic projects with real impact. Cohesion and shared direction are essential.
