Entire communities will be accommodated with safe drinking water, easy walking distance from their homes, once large-scale water filters of granulated ceramics are fabricated. See the slide of this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yMo6k2v13qYLDXBjUA9T7PY6UntN__o9/view?usp=sharing

Re purifying water: also check the Micro Ceramic Filter of Katadyn (katadyngroup.com ), especially in combination with the sunlight pump from ennos (www.ennos.ch)

Such filters as those of Katadyn and LifeStraw are wonderful, but for the poor, of daily income US$1 or $2, these are totally un-sustainable. Until the poor are doing their own production and implementation of safe drinking water they will be dependent on handouts.
