To meet the goal of handling and disposing solid waste, it is important to recognize that solid waste can be converted to biochar and oil, which are important materials for farming and transportation. India should invest monies in using pyrolysis to convert solid waste to oil, which can be used as fuel, and biochar, which can improve crop yield in agriculture.
I would recommend that India invests in setting up pyrolysis plants in every city, town and even community. Pyrolysis also generates heat, which can be used in fish farming.Dr. Rakesh Govind
