Here’s a case study for a typical sewage drain, wherein both treated and untreated waste Water from villages, colonies, STPs and ETPs has been flowing.
Like any usual upcountry drain, the flow was completely compromised due to high TSS (Total Suspended Solids), high TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) resulting in to high Viscosity. This stagnated Water was providing a wonderful breeding ground for mosquitoes, which in turn was the reason behind the high population of mosquitoes around the drain.
The BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand) & COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) were high and DO (Dissolved Oxygen) was absent, resulting into anaerobic digestion causing massive foul smell in the vicinity. The situation was also apt for high fecal coliform count due to the untreated animal waste coming in from villages.
Both the above factors were a cause of worry for the administration, since it was a virtual epidemic bomb waiting to explode any time for vector borne as well as water borne diseases.
It was in this death bed condition, that Imperium Earth Advisors, started working on this project for in situ rejuvenation of the drain.
What you would be witnessing in this video is the effect of the treatment, the test results for the laboratory testing of the environment (including wasteWater, Sludge & Air quality), as well as the experience of the local residents – both pre & post treatment.
