Madhukar Swayambhu – is a TEDx speaker, awarded by Jal Shakti Mantralaya as Water Hero, Recognized as Global Top 3 Author on Water by Smart Water Magazine (Spain), having many published articles in various Water & Environment magazines and giving so many lectures in national & international level institutes including IIPA, NIFTEM, FSM, NEERI etc., rejuvenating billions of litres of water spread over hundreds of acres of Waterbodies and millions of litres of sewage on a daily basis.

His innovation & invention is based upon Vaidic Science, and their corporate entity is called “Vaidic Srijan LLP”. In today’s lecture, we’ll get to know from Mr. Swayambhu about the “Vaidic Approach towards Resurrection of Native Ecology”.

Their wetlands restoration work in Delhi (the ongoing Smriti Van Lake, Vasant Kunj, Prasadnagar Lake, KarolBagh and Jheelwala Park, Rohini) has set the standards for providing sustainable and suitable habitation for birds and also helped in protecting Delhi from flooding and improving the groundwater quality. Similarly, in the case of Hyderabad’s Kudi Kunta Lake, covering 8 acres, was about to die when it was rejuvenated by their Vaidic method of restoration. Likewise, in the year 2020, Mandakini River in Chitrakoot was also rejuvenated with a similar approach which made prime time news on ABP channel, they even created the News Headline recently in Dainik Jaagran on 7th July, 2021 by rejuvenating a sewage drain in Punjab. Although it is a very new concept of wetlands restoration there are significant progress and successful case studies in India.
