Indeed, to believe that desalinating so much seawater has a minimal impact on the environment is simply a dangerous denial. This researcher did not consider the amount of biocides required for cleaning the desalination cartridges, in addition to the huge amount of greenhouse gases caused by fossil fuels used for electricity generation.
