Dear Kamran Buksh Soomro, I cannot disagree with you on the issue of food security. In my assessment, only IWRM concept through river basin management approach could ensure right to water as a basic human right. Water for People to meet the drinking water sector and to sanitation needs b) Water for Food to meet the requirements of both the farming and Irrigation sectors c) Water for Nature to protect the ecosystem as an inclusive space for wetlands and catchment areas, coastal and marine ecosystems and d) Water for the requirements by industry, energy and transportation. Glad that the waternetwork as a knowledge sharing platform is helping to develop a near consensu towards IWRM concept.
