What could be the possible solution to have the Rituals at the bank of Ganga without affecting the relegious sentiments and at the same time to keep the river clean ?

As for us the Ganga is a holly river how can we perform our rituals still do not harm the river?

Turning head away from reality is not excusable. Every educated person knows that our governance has so far allowed almost all agents to pollute our river systems and aquifers. Even in prime focus constituency of Varanasi, please see as to how over 30 nullahs including Assi River is still being allowed to discharge 50 mgd of untreated raw sewage right into Ganges just before the Assi ghat !

Technologies are there to collect and treat sewage but our governance does not find money to do any planned development of habitat ! We still collect only less than 30% of sewage and waste waters....and O&M of STPs still leaves a lot as desired as even parts of 30% of collected sewage goes untreated or partially treated.

How much our Panchayati Raj focuses on problems of public health and hygiene is also known to all...when MOUD itself is not having adequate budgets to ensure even one good smart city?

It will not be a surprise if some political head suggests that rituals should be performed on even odd days ! Same as Delhi govt. subjects its citizens to in the name of controlling air pollution !
