I would like to share my thoughts on water conservation.
As we all know water is essential for the existence of life on earth. It is becoming scarce not only in arid regions of the world but also in the regions where it used to be available in abundance. Due to negligence and improper management of resources and infrastructure, It is mostly wasted by way of pipe bursts and leakages in water supply networks and improper usage in the washrooms, kitchens and gardens.
A lot of wastage in the supply network can be save by utilizing latest available technology to detect leakages and repair as soon as possible.
At domestic level we need to educate general public specially younger generation to use water sparingly. It is generally seen that dripping pipes and faucets in washrooms and elsewhere are not repaired in time due to which lot of potable water is wasted. Although latest technology available to irrigate lawns and plants in the backyard, people still use primitive methods like garden hose and jars. We can save more than 30% of water if we use latest water saving equipment like smart controllers, weather stations and moisture sensors in the irrigation system.
We should thrive to save water for the future generation.
