Published on by PHETLA MANGENA, Water quality at WEB Bonaire
Am monitoring Wastewater Treatment Works of 8.5 ML, and currently the WWTWs is overloaded. The sludge is over as well all drying beds are full of sludge.
Am asking the following questions:
1. Is the any chemical I can use to breakdown the sludge?
2. If is the any chemical please assist me with that information.
Thanks

New international decarbonation developments should be considered to convert the sludges to usable by-products with added value. Digestate solids is a valuable by product

Due to enviromental policies we are currently harvesting sludge without chemicals and use biodolids and filtered liquid as resources.
