International aid projects come under the microscope

I just came across this new,http://www.nature.com/news/international-aid-projects-come-under-the-microscope-1.12268

And trust me, I just loved it. Water and sanitation is gathering so much of attention and huge aid is coming to development countries for this. Iw onder where these grants goes? Does it make any changes? What other members think about this?

  2. I certainly agree to the need of strict M&E, to improve upon the implementation process. We must learn from our mistakes and make implementation more effective; to do that we need to be much more inclusive and transparent. I would like to put into focus the initiatives taken under SWAJAL in Uttarakhand as a success story.
