Just made a short report on an EU Interreg project to test bio-refining natural grass cuttings.
A result of forest and wetland restoration natural grass has to be cut and the cuttings removed. But what to do with the cuttings? Through bio-refining the cuttings can be made into valuable resources: lipids, fibers and a sugar rich wei.
What do you think: does this offer an opportunity and will bio-refining greens waste streams have a future? watch the video report
