Himachal Pradesh, small hill state northern India enclosed by the Himalayas is one of the most impacted region of the country in terms of vigor and multifaceted climate change threats in recent time. The region is subjected to earthquakes, landslides, cloud burst, flash floods and avalanches. The region has witnessed fatalities and economic losses quite high in last one decade.
This is a high time to train and sensitize natural resource dependent communities to adapt to change in order to maintain or enhance its ecological well-being.
