Good day and thank you Esther. This is good but why not also acting at the source of the problem. Many products (e.g. detergent) can be replaced by non pollutant ones. Why is the EU authorising the production and sales of products ending in wastewater and so difficult to treat that recycling is expensive and not carbon efficient?

That is a very relevant question, Valerie. Let's hope the EU Parlement will put this forward.
