1. We have been using the Hach SL1000 for about 4 months and it is a tremendous time saver.  We are able to perform six different test at one time. Instead of pulling out several different pieces of equipment, we can use one. 

   The device is user friendly, you have the ability to set routes, set different operators and download the results to keep track of your system.  From a General Manager perspective, these abilities are extremely valuable. I have time stamps for the performed test, a user stamp and a route stamp which is great for accountability purposes. 

   I was reluctant about the quality of the test results at first; so I performed a calibration test by comparing the results of the SL 1000 with other colorimeters we have. The results were either identical or varied slightly. (the  variances were so minimal that it was not a concern)

   I strongly recommend the Hach SL 1000. It is a little expensive; but with the time saved and the accountability it is well worth it.
