Very nice paper on the follow-on consequences of CoViD-19. Here in California we are facing long term water shortages potentially caused by what climatologists and paleo-climatologists are projecting to be a climate change induced "megadrought". Thus, California farmers are already leaving expanses of agricultural land fallow/unplanted, reducing the size of cattle herds, etc. Inasmuch as California is a major supplier of agricultural products to the world, this will also cause further shortages and price increases as the drought progresses.
