JanaJal - A Social Initiative to Change the Perception and Thought Process on Drinking Water

To address the grave problem of accessibility to water, Parag Agarwal, Founder & CMD started JanaJal in 2013. With a mission to make safe drinking water accessible for all, the social enterprise, over the past year, has expanded to different parts of India with a major focus being on Maharashtra and Delhi NCR.

The company currently has nearly 450 systems operating in different parts of India with major focus being on Maharashtra and Delhi NCR.

  1. @ Janajal - Social Initiative.....

    The initiative is commendable. But, from where do the ATMs get relatively less contaminated water of adequate quantity. Since, in India, over 70% the water sources (both surface water and groundwater) are polluted with some or the other pollutants, such as,  nitrate, fluoride, arsenic, fertilizers, pesticides,...etc.

    I shall appreciate receiving more details on the technology of the ATM facility to make polluted water safe. How safe is safe?
