I am relieved that people are putting attention on the water problems in our world. I did some traveling recently in Arizona and was shocked at the fragility of the fresh water sources in that region. To my knowledge, the Colorado river is the ONLY major source of fresh water for most of Arizona, the Las Vegas area and a good portion of southern California. Any loss of the snow base from winter fronts and the entire region could be thrown into a major catastrophe.
