Mechanical Water Pump

Mechanical Water Pump

Some time ago or few years back I come up with a solution how to pump water to almost any destination and height  without use of any electricity or fuel.

I call it Mechanical Water Pump that uses gravity of Water to Pump Water. It works similar to Hydro Plant where Turbines are span by Water flow/pressure which turn or spin Generators. In my Technology here we are using same principals where instead of spinning Generator we spin Mechanical Water Pump and Generators at the same time if necessary.

In my system here we have Turbine attached to Gearboxes on both sides. From those Gearboxes we run shaft to connect Generators to it or at the lower end we connect Mechanical Water Pumps so when Turbine is span it will spin both, Electrical Generators and Mechanical pump/s.

That means that we can at the same Time produce Electricity and Pump Water from the River, Creek or  even Hydro Plant/other. This might seem like no big deal at first but I know that this is very important improvement or Invention. There are many reasons why that is and where this Technology could be used. To supply water to some Rural towns , homes or even for Irrigation.

This system can be developed almost anywhere on this Planet and help those Towns or Rural sector that don't have any electricity or fuel to power/run pumps. Gravity of Water as per these images will help those people in need. I think it is also very cheap solution to pump Water and that this Technology could be of great importance in years to come. Mechanical Pump in this example could last much longer in a working mode than any other Water Pump. They will almost never overheat which is common to all other Water Pumps. Gearboxes are designed to take a lot of load and to handle the heat.

The structure  or this system is designed as floating structure or as a small Dam structure where we can even use huge Hydro Dams to convert them  into Irrigation Plants in bit different way.

  1. Ram pumps have a simpler design and had been used for decades: http://www.greenandcarter.com/main/product/ram_diagram.gif

    1. Got nothing against Ram Pump and I know about it, still my system will Pump water to much higher and longer distances and it will Pump water in a continues way with a continues water flow. It would work just like electric or fuel powered Water Pump but without any external energy input. My Gravity Mechanical Water Pump will cut the costs for irrigation and Water supply to a minimum in many parts of the World. Thanks!

    1. Hello David Harpur! Yes I know about this kind of water pump, I have seen it before. Not sure how that would work on a larger scale or to pump water uphill and to what distances. With my system we get continues water flow to any distance or destination. Of course that also depends on size of the system and force produced by the turbine and water pressure or volume of water that runs that turbine and the entire system. Thanks!
