The real problem about Mexican Water Crisis is political because business interests of mayor global firms in water business. Mexican water regulations enacts to treat all wastewater into drinking water quality similar to EPA regulations, but government is trying to privatize this service because few technologists we have developed very efficient sustainable technologies to re-purify any kind of wastewater into potable water at very low operating costs and zero emissions. Aversely we are banned of official mexican and WBG funds (like IFC) and projects to restore water self sufficiency in affordable and sustainable way; governments looks create maliciously a severe water crisis to justify public water service privatization.
