Toxicity Audits for Troubleshooting and Evaluating New Influent Streams
Published on by Erik Rumbaugh, Vice President at Aster Bio in Monitoring
Auditing wastewater treatment systems for potential toxicity with new influent streams or following loss of treatment efficiency requires both data analysis and laboratory testing. Over the years, Aster Bio has developed tools and testing protocols that can streamline the audit process. The following article describes the steps and tests that we use in performing the audit.

Just a suggestion. Would it not be less costly and more efficient using current biotechnology to detoxify the new influent steams and the bioremediated waters returned to the potable water reservoirs ? Did not know which country you are referring to. Hope this helps.
