It was in 2014 winter, I was unable to believe that Rajasthan can be so beautiful and green in Udaypur and Jodhpur area. Farmers are growing all crops on rain water harvest in nearby fallow lands.

Thanks for appreciating Rajasthan. Apart from crops, Rajasthan is also known for cultural heritage folk songs, folk dances, etc. Variety of crops are grown in Rajasthan particularly crops which does not need much water. But the position is different in areas where dam and canals have been constructed like Kota and Ganga Nagar. In such areas rice, sugarcane, etc are also grown on large scale. I have also attended a conference in I998 for presenting my paper DISADVANTAGES OF EXCESS IRRIGATION in Hindi (avasyakta se adhik sinchai se haniya).
