A Future for Bio-refining Natural Grass Cuttings?

Just made a short report on an EU Interreg project to test bio-refining natural grass cuttings. 

A result of forest and wetland restoration natural grass has to be cut and the cuttings removed. But what to do with the cuttings? Through bio-refining the cuttings can be made into valuable resources: lipids, fibers and a sugar rich wei.
