  1. We have been involved in South Africa with turnkey installation of 2000-15000m3 per day SWRO plants, all these installations made use of SWRO skids (steelframe mounted units). The pre-treatment tends to take up a lot of space and I would agree that a 15000m3/day plant would be more optimally done as design-build model / custom designed turnkey. Do you have seawater analyses available? We are available to assist. Kindly direct message me.

  2. I agree with Mr. Beyer that if this is for one location a design build plant would be more cost effective.  If containerized plants is what you need in the sizes mentioned above, I would say lead times are between 2-6 months.  I have recently sourced a couple of smaller units and very few manufacturers have units of these size sitting on the shelf.  We are happy to help.

  3. For that size in one location I believe it would be far more cost effective and maybe even faster to go for a custom designed plant.

If not already being done, I also recommend you immediately sample and analyse sea water quality, at least weekly, ideally for 12 months, and commence pre-treatment jar testing trials. You could also consider commencing intake construction - preferably using beach infiltration gallery or Neodren system http://www.catalanadeperforacions.com/en/neodren capable of ~500L/s and perhaps consider construction of the brine discharge capable of ~300 L/s with the same contractor/equipment.
