Notes to Applicants    
This position will be filled at one of the following levels depending upon candidate qualifications:

Graduate Engineer A: $31.65 to $39.56 per hour
Graduate Engineer B: $32.89 to $41.93 per hour
Engineer A: $34.86 to $44.45 per hour
Engineer B: $36.95 to $47.12 per hour
Engineer C: $38.78 to $50.42 per hour


Position Overview:
Interested in helping improve our environment and make a positive impact to our community? Austin Water currently has an opening for a lead engineer to help coordinate Austin Water utility projects in creeks with the Watershed Protection Department. In addition to the exciting work of coordinating utilities in creek restoration, this position will help with utility relocations with other interdepartmental and other state and local government agencies in the Austin area. Travel:
If you are selected for this position, and meet the Driver Safety Standards in the City of Austin Driver Safety Program, you may drive when necessary to multiple locations as part of your regular job duties. Otherwise, you are responsible for getting to and from these locations.
