Here in Western New York we have innovative technologies of water treatment.  How do we engage with UK water professionals without being in the UK?  What we have are water filter systems of Packed Particle Beds - PPBs.  The PPBs are water filter media of 1. granulated ceramics, and 2. glass micro beads.  Depending on the application, the PPBs are treated with either silver or copper.  The water can be treated to the highest standard, i.e., log 5 reduction or better.  As in the past, however, we have had a problem connecting with UK professionals.  I would encourage any who are interested to visit us here in Western New York.  This is a collaboration with the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, alfred.edu.  Regards, Reid, a.k.a.
