Director, Texas Water Infrastructure Fund; Full Time

Who We Are
Launched in 2020, the Water Finance Exchange, Inc. (WFX) was founded with a mission of increasing funding to small and midsize water and wastewater utilities disadvantaged by funding gaps. A 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, WFX is comprised of a team of water and finance professionals devoted to assisting communities across the U.S. break the logjam of water investment by identifying and tailoring solutions that are suited for the communities WFX serves.

WFX is in a unique position to address the funding shortage of water infrastructure projects for thousands of American communities. WFX achieves this through partnerships with federal and state funding agencies, financial institutions, non-profits, and philanthropy; reducing the burden of government alone in endeavoring to close that gap. WFX is creating a pipeline of community water infrastructure project opportunities across the United States.

WFX supports the efforts of communities to access funding by assembling the best expertise, helping those communities navigate the pre-development funding process, removing regulatory hurdles, completing projects, and learning and disseminating information about recurring issues and solutions that allow for increased funding of similarly situated communities and regional initiatives that would otherwise be unavailable.

As part of its national growth, WFX has recently established a Texas Pre-Development Fund in partnership with one of its major funders, and is seeking to add a full-time Director to its core team.
